I m the president of the De Tomaso & innocenti Club of France since 10 years with around 120 cars worldwide. I own 3 De Tomaso and i race with my Innocenti 3 cylinders Turbo as VHC (Historical Vehicule of Competition). The site is currently offline because we are working on the database but adress is : www.detomasobybertone.com (http://www.detomasobybertone.com) the forum adress is : http://ownersclubtdt.proboards.com/index.cgi (http://ownersclubtdt.proboards.com/index.cgi) I m sorry i don t speak italian at all, but it s a big mistake, i should choose italian instead spanish when i was at school...I don t have anything to do with spanish. Anyway.... I m just here to try to find some parts for my race de tomaso. I upgrade the rear drum brakes by disc brakes, i have Fiat rear brakes. After few serious talk with racing experience around A 112 Abarth or other Fiat here : http://www.italian-cars-club.com/italian-cars-club-forum/index.php (http://www.italian-cars-club.com/italian-cars-club-forum/index.php) It appear that the best solution is to find rear brakes of Uno Turbo for the innocenti. Dopo diverse discussione con esperti corse A112 Abarth ed altri Fiat: http://www.italian-cars-club.com/italian-cars-club-forum/index.php , sembra che la migliore soluzione sia trovare i freni posteriori della Uno Turbo e montarli sulla Innocenti. Today this car is in Monaco to a private collection. Why i need rear brakes of UNO Turbo i.e : my de tomaso run around 130 bhp at 15 psi with the new GARRETT GT1548 for 610 kilos. It s a power-weight ratio of 4.69 kilos per horsepower. Not bad.... ::) But i need to be able to stop now (eventually) ! Specially on small roads.... After 2 hours there is no brakes at all... too hot. So, i have to upgrade the front for the 4 points calipers allow + big vent brake disc metro turbo and for the rear i need UNO turbo calipers. I just have to built the plate to fix the rear UNO calipers and that s it.
